i've only been to the beach a couple of times, but i did wear the suit under my clothes

Sure do. It saves time by not having to find a dressing room/restroom where I can change into the bathing suit. I can just take off my outer clothing and I am good to go!

No. I fish at the beach from a pier. When I use to sun or swim I used to wear them under my clothes.

Nah, I just climb a dune, get behind slip my trunks on (after taking my clothes off of course), leap over, and give the person sitting by it a shock. Next thing I do is run down to the sea.

usually I do
once at Kripalu and today I forgot to put on my bathing suit
due to my wife being unhappy and not having slept last night and WAY too much Guinness

yes, but I usually don't wear a shirt, only shorts, skirt or pants...if I'm wearing my swim suit.
