Should deer hunting or duck hunting be banned? Should it be illegal to hunt any wild animals? Many endangered animals and fish are hunted, many have been hunted to extinction in the past. If whales are hunted for food and other products and the hunters tell the truth about their hunting, I have no problems with strictly controlled hunting. I object to people lying about it, talking about "scientific whaling" when they are just hunting the whales for meat - and taking more than they need.
There is room for humans to hunt wild food for consumption but as we have so much we grow ourselves all wild-food taking should be limited and controlled. If there are signs that the species is endangered then hunting should stop immediately.

I believe that if it isn't banned it should be heavily moderated. I do know that in some cultures they eat whale. But there really isn't a high need for whale products anymore. There are a lot of pros and cons for issues like this so it is kind of hard to answer.
