Awww... I've missed you too!

I like a nice warm bran muffin, smeared with melting butter... If I'm not having sex, at least I can have food, right?

Ok - first of all this is going to sound mean but - STOP READING ABOUT LOSING WEIGHT AND GO FOR A WALK - ok sorry about that. I also have battled with my weight for most of my life. I was a fat kid, akward in HS, gained more weight in college.. but today i can say --- I lost about 30 lbs in 6 months ( about 140 - 113, size 10/12 - 2). I used to read these forums all the time looking for a fix and then i realized I just needed to do it! I needed to get into the gym and stop making excuses. I started out slow, the first month I had a goal of running a mile without stopping. The second month I trained for a 5k that my work was sponsering.... Now I run 3 miles every other weekday morning and 5 on saturdays. I also weight train 3 times a week and take spinning class (spinning burns about 500 cals in 45 mins!!). When you are tired and you just don't want to work out - don't feel discouraged and eat a pint of ice cream... stand in your living room and do some squats, sit ups, jumping jacks, a few laps around your house.. you dont have to do a full work out.. do maybe 10 of each.. if you still feel like you are to tired to for a full work out, take the night off! But I am telling you, exercise is addictive.
