please don't be mean, but, rush is on here in the office and every time i hear him i like to 'rip my ears off' :)

i started listening to rush, the talk show host, (the band rocks!) about 12 years ago. i listened every day of my own choosing. at that time i thought, yeah, a different view point and liked that. but he just got meaner and meaner. i truly think he has contributed greatly to the division in government and devalued others' opinion to the point where if you have a differing view your castigated for it. i know here in the my small office among ppl i truly respect and care for, my point of view, if different, which it isn't always, they can be brutal. and, hey, that's ok because rush does it. don't know 'bout you but here, the 'doctor of democracy' has made free-speech very difficult, indeed.
thank you all for your opinions.

It won't help today but maybe you can get some ear plugs to block it out or some ear phones like for an IPod to listen to something else, something of your choosing. Hopefully one of these ideas will work for you!! Good Luck!!

And what is it that you'd like an opinion on? How we feel about Rush? Or did you really just want someone to agree with you. Not being mean, but have you ever just sat back and watched people on here. People are either looking to vent, debate just to get a rise out of others, or trying to convert them. Whichever your reason is, if you don't like it, ask that it be changed to something else. I myself, choose not to subject myself to anyone elses theory but my own, unless that is, if I haven't been completely informed with my own research.

Well Rush the band is Great. Crank IT!
If it's the talk show guy, uh maybe you just spill coffee on the radio or something "accidental". You trip on the powercord, etc. OSHA hazard. There.

I felt the same way when I was 19-20 years old as I got older and became less of a liberal then when I was young, and now I listen to him all the time , but he still can be annoying. My only problem with him is that his opinion differs then yours he says your wrong, .... it has nothing to do with right or wrong it's your opinion.

Religion is like politics sometimes lol, well just tune it out, if it does not violate office policy there isn't much you can do. How come so many people cannot respect others opinions if it doesn't aggree with their own?

The problem is, you listen to him, I simply turn the dial, or better yet, watch Jon Stewart, at least, he makes me laugh for the right reasons.

Rush is a drug abusing knucklehead, so [really] who cares what his opinion is, or why would it matter any more then some crack-head on the street.

I have always said that it is too bad that we haven't adapted some muscles that allow us to close our ears...like eyelids for our ears. At least you don't have to listen to this ghetto *** ***** at my office...she talks all day but never says anything. I am going to start wearing earphones...can you do that at your work?

Go up to whomever has their radio on and ask them politely to turn it down.

Rush is annoying both politically AND vocally -- very grating voice, with that smarmy attitude that is SO unendearing.

Go shut the radio off without saying anything then go back to work...

He needs to just go away, his views are way so "Timex" in a digital age
