Hi, unless you are very rich, buy him a model replica of the car that is his dream car, or the car if you are rich! A key ring with his favourite car logo on it? Guys really don't need presents from my experience. They either already have what they want or if they don't, they are too expensive. If he is someone that you love, and he loves you, he will be more than happy with an expression of your feelings towards him. Be tactile. A touch is worth a lot. He will get socks, pants, aftershave lotion and ties from his mother, sisters and aunts.
All of these things will be forgotten within the next few days if not immediately. Be loving and it will never be forgotten.
The gift is only a token of your affection. Give him something that will last for ever. Happy Christmas.

I have a son who is into Cars..now Age 24...Get him a Magazine subscription like "Hot Rods" or Mustang or Muscle Cars etc. If he likes working on them, find a gadget...I gave my son an extending magnet and he uses it a lot...Last year he wanted a "DogBone Creeper, for working underneath a car...i found one on line much cheaper than in the stores locally, no tax and no shipping! Hope this helps!

rent him an awesome car for the day. Find out what is his fav, then find a car place that will let you rent one for the day. Don't plan on where to eat dinner, let him drive to his hearts content. Maybe have dinner the next town over or something.

Keep your eye out for an abandoned hub cap. When you find it, clean it up a bit and then wrap it up. Attach a note that reads "I travelled over 100 miles to find your gift!"
