Its normal..for me I had to get my annual exams done too so the dr did the blood tests also. The wait is frustrating but its only 2 weeks. Start your vitamins if u have not done so...
Also most docs will not schedule prenatal appt till you are 8-9 weeks pregnant (Atleast in United States). I was pretty upset with that wait but this forum helped a lot.
Congrats on your pregnacy.

yes thats normal. Docs wont see you until you are at least 8 weeks. Is this your first baby? If it is make sure you write down all the questions you have because its really fast how these appointments go. Ask about prenatal vitamins. Ask about foods you can and cant eat. Ask about certain pains that you should be expecting like cramping, possible spotting, tieredness and what ever other things you can think of.

It's totally normal. Doctors don't normally want to see you until you are at least 8 weeks along. If you are wanting a doctor to do a pregnancy test sooner because you just want to be sure that you are pregnant, make an appointment with your regular physician and have him or her perform one for you.

Most Dr's wait until you are at least 8 weeks before they will see you. I went to an Urgent Care and had them do a blood test to confirm for me so I didn't have to wait.

That's about normal and you should be fine. I would just start behaving like the HPT is right (they are pretty accurate) and pay attention to what you eat, take a good multi-vitamin, etc.

Very normal, all doctors make you wit as tit is too early to hear or see the heart beat. they may give you an internal ultra sound on your first visit - so at this stage it is too early to see anything.
