They look an awful lot like the Chiefs of a few years ago. High powered offense, bad defense. The Chiefs managed to make the playoffs with that recipe a few times and usually won 9 or 10 games a year. I think it's very possible for the lions to sneak into the playoffs this year, the NFC is a much weaker conference so a 9-7 record would have a good chance of making it. The Packers have a stranglehold on the North division so I don't see the Lions winning the division, but they are certainly a good candidate for a wild card if they continue to play at this level. 9 games, possibly 10 given their schedule and a weakening division.

They won't win a single hockey game. Kitna can't even skate!!

Oh, football... yeah, they might back into the playoffs with a 9-7 record, but that's best case. They're 3-1, sure, but they've beaten up on bad teams. Their opponents have a combined 5-11 record. Its not like they're beating the Colts every week.

But hell, they're actually showing some backbone this year. That, if nothing else, makes this year a step in the right direction.

Are you talking the Lions or the Wings? Lions suck and they always will...they are NOT going to make the playoffs, they might win a game, if they are lucky. Wings will make the playoffs.

One can only HOPE the Lions win at least 10 and get into the play offs in this, the 50th anniversary of their last championship.

If you mean the Wings I think they will win a bundle in spite of Hasek and make the play offs. Heck, almsot ALL the teams make the play offs in hockey.

Too bad more don't make the play offs in baseball or the Tigers would be there!

i can see them winning 10 games this year. they should make the playoffs. there offense is questionalbe, but noone in the nfc north besides the lions has any type of an offense. i can see both green bay and detroit making the playoffs this year. kitna, calvin johnson, roy williams, mcdonald, furrrey is a very difficult passing game to stop. the additon of kevin jones to tatum bell can only help them by bringing in some competition.

You mean the Red Wings?

Are you a hockey fan?

They will win 45 games and make the first round of the playoffs, by the way.

Wearing your helmet at all times would have prevented the head injury that caused your vision impairment. The proper warnings may not have been in place. At Cme and Associates we specialize in just and fair compensation for neglect on the part of large corporations who continually fail to securely adhere these warning labels to their helmets and also neglect their duty to their customer to supply proper fastening equipment. For the price of a bag of screws, your injury could have been prevented, however, due to the manufacturer's inferior instruction(s) and thoughtless greed, you are obviously left to suffer the consequences and ridicule from your injuries.
At Cme and Associates we believe no lawsuit is too frivolous. While other firms work on a no money down, pay as you gain structure, they have a tendency to ignore the truly profitable cases. At Cme and Associates we will take your money regardless of the client's stupidity. We believe no client is too stupid to pay.

Their defense sucks and if they don't start protecting Kitna, then they are going to have some troubles when they actually play someone good. They might win 10 games, but only because of an easy schedule. Ask me again when they actually play someone decent. When you do, ask it in the football section.
