I am just curious to know what other babies are saying. Are they saying sounds? If so, what sounds are they saying?

I ask this because my son does make all sorts of noises (which I call talk). They are Ahh, Eee, HiAhh(sounds kind of like hi) Gi, Gee, A-Goo, (and various gurgling sounds with his spit)

Never known a baby that young to "talk". They are just making baby sounds at this age.

I'm a mom of two and I've never heard of a baby talking that early. Babbling and cooing maybe, but my daughter started saying a word or two about 9-10 months - the typical stuff like dada, mama

When my son was 7 weeks, he made lots of growling and grunting noises, and noises like he was worried (unh-unh-unh). My doctor at the time said he was right on track vocally.

At 5 months, he is all over the map, from cooing (A-ah-aye softly) to shrieks, giggles, and 'ah-goos'. He babbles constantly, especially when he is chilling out. My personal favorite is 'woah'. He often starts a cry (like when he has nightmares) with a long drawn out Ma-aaaaaaa, which just kills me!

My son didn't cooing until 3 mos. At that age, he liked to look at you and made lots of different coo sounds like he's talking to you!

Best wishes!

Well my mother said most babies start to talk when they are 1 year old. All they say at 7 weeks would be weeeeeeeeeeeee.

My first born daughter clearly said." I want my mama!" at 5 weeks. She was having conversations by 6 months. People thought that I was using my baby as a ventriloquist doll. I was not doing any such thing.
