I took 25mg's of Viagra (I have anxiet some times) last night. I didn't actually end up having sex that night. And fell asleep 2 hours after taking it. A few hours later I woke up during the night with an erection. There was no pain. But I was worried, and the erection faded. Did I have a priapism err??

I don't understand your question.

I think next time you take Viagra, you shouldn't be drinking...

No, you didn't have priapism with this dosage and you mustn't be worry about it.

Priapism last for 4 hours and more and than you must seek medical advice. If it's not treated you can lose your potency and be forever impotent.

It seems that Viagra 25 mg works for you, when you have performance anxiety it's a good choice to take it.

But I would recommend you to ask a doctor for your side effects and to control you.

Didn't you have any side effects like red flush, red eyes and other things?

Viagra works only when you're sexually stimulated, but it can come to erections without any sexualy stimulation and it can improve your erections, too.

It depends to every man, because not everybody respond like an other one.

Don't be worry about priapism, be careful with the dosages and don't take it too much without medical attention.

No, it's not priapism because the blue pill effect last long many hours. Besides, don't forget that during the night the libido increases and so, in your case, the event was overdrawn from the Viagra too.

No, priapism can occur in spinal cord injuries and sickle cell disease. With priapism the erection can last 2 weeks or more. You probably just had a good dream with a physical response.

It's usually considered a priapism if it lasts for four hours or longer (continually), or if you've suffered major back trauma and you have an erection. Hope this helps.

priapism is defined as an erection lasting more than four hours. As yours faded, no, you did not have priapism.

no, that term refers to unusual happenstance of a 4-hr+ hardiness, etc. etc. you didn't have that happen. You're OK. And maybe, shouldn't be fooling with that stuff at your age... leave it to the geezers.

Fact: using that term prominently in the TV ads.. is just a marketing ploy to make guys (wink wink wink) think that the side-effect is 4x the benefit that they "want" in the first place...

The rule of thumb is that if the head of penis is enlarged, it's not priapism.

Priapism doesn't go away on its own. Usually you need a doctor to drain blood from it.
