Next year I'll be transferring to a 4 year college for Pre-Physical Therapy. Their website states that you can choose any major you'd like and they list a few that most students go with. But I want to eventually get into therapuetic horseback riding and see if I can incorporate that with my Physical Therapy training. As long as I have the core required classes, I should be able to take some Animal Science classes too, right? Or is that too far off the physical therapy track?

There is nothing wrong with this...I've known PTs who completed their undergraduate degree in dance, art and actuary science...go for it!

Go for a double major. Do what you know you want to do, but have the regular PT to fall back on.
