not sure, but people with porn addictions are also regular masturbaters which would mean that if they were to engage in real sexual activities, they probably would not be able to perform due to the fact they are used to their hand and watching porn so much.

I have experienced the same thing for the first 3 years of marriage. There is a reason for you to feel how you feel, so don't compromise your beliefs about it. The best thing you have said is that he realizes that he's addicted and wants help. That is half of the battle. What you have to do from here is help him to understand that while you don't condone his porn watching in any way, you love him and are supporting of the steps he takes to get help. My husband read a few books, and it gave him a better understanding of exactly why porn is like cheating (in spite of popular belief). It helped him to understand why I felt betrayed, and it also helped him understand that he was using it to relieve stress. I would recommend a book called "Sex Is Not the Problem, Lust Is" by Joshua Harris. Also, to be honest, it wouldn't have been possible for my husband to have overcome his addiction without him praying about it and asking God for help. Since his addiction has been broken, he's been so much more focused at work and makes so much more money (he's a salesmen who gets paid commission only), our sex life has been much more intimate, and our relationship is back on track. He is so much more encouraged about life, and I am so thankful. We are a living testimony that couples can make it through this. I hope that encourages you . Just let him know you're there for him and that you appreciate his efforts to get help.

It doesnt really bother me. My husband does have a porn addiction. But everyone has some type of addiction. Alcholics have a alchohol addiction. Cr*ckhe*ds have a drug addiction. Nascars racers have a speed addiction. People should not worry about that because im sure that they have some sort of addiction too. Eating disorder is a weight loss addiction. The internet can become an addiction.

Tell them how it makes you feel, some guys are just so use to looking at porn that it's a hard adjustment for them. I had that probl em with my boyfriend, and my feelings use to get hurt so bad all the time, I told him how awful it made me feel, I felt like he was cheating. He relized that I was way better and porn was not worth losing me over. Be honest and up front, if you have and they haven't stop, well maybe your too good for them. Thing is though guys masterbate all the time, it's like they need too, it's one thinking doing knowing he is thinking about me virus clicking away to check out some porn star.
I know someone said block the porn sites, trust that came threw my head too, but as adults we shouldn't have to stoop that low, if you need to have parental controls then it's not a good realtionship.

I fall under the thinking that porn is fun to look at, but doesn't come anywhere remotely close to the real thing.
Ask him, whether he would like to look at a picture of a Ferrari, or drive one..........
