Will a Canadian XBOX 360 work with an English AC adapter?

the console was bought in Canada and the adapter is broken, will an English one work?

The adapter has to be of two important types.

1) Input: It has to work with the electricity of your home. English (British electricity is different than the North American, so be sure of the 'Input' Requirements of the adapter.)

2) Output. Most of the XBox units all use the same voltage, but verify that the OUTPUT of the Adapter is the same and the required energy for your XBox unit.

Canada uses the same system as the US. UK differs...
