I'm being harrased by my co-workers and my bosses. I'm pregnant and my co-works call me useless, worthless in front of my fase and behind my back. i have never been written up before and the first 2 weeks after i told them i was pregnant i was writen up for such stupid things. One of the vets that i work with told me that the other vet doesn't like me anymore. We used to get along fine!!
Are there any laws in new jersey that i can show these doctors and my co-workers that what they are doing to me is illegal and causing me alot of stress. I'm still working as hard as i can. I called out today because i can't stand to be treated like this anmore and i'm trying to see what my rights are. Any one out there.. Please help. If you have web sites or advice or know where i can look up these laws so they are black and white. It would be great! PS- The one Dr. is the Human Resorce director and he is of no help because he is one of the partners and the office manager is the Dr's wife.

Don't try to practice law without a license. Contact an attorney in your area and discuss this with him/her. Based on what you are saying... you definately have a case.

I know I will get blasted - but what the heck....

Like the other poster said - have you evaluated yourself? Some women when they become pregnant seem to think this entitles them to a certain "get out of work free card" for nine months. They are difficult to work with and create a bad work environment for everyone.
You state you "work as hard as you can" - well is it as hard as you used to? Or are you doing less now because of your "condition"? Do you find yourself saying repeatedly throughout the day "I can't do that I'm pregnant", "I need to sit down I'm pregnant", etc etc.
Seriously - look at your behavior related to work and this pregnancy to see if you are contributing to your own hostile work environment by becoming the "pregnant co-worker from hell". No one wants to pick up ALL the slack for a person who uses a temporary medical condition to the minimum amount of work.

Perhaps a talk with your coworkers would be in order, and get their feelings as to why they have changed towards you. Maybe a little self-analysis will direct you to an inner problem.

Not every grouchy, bitchy work environment is grounds for a discrimination suit - peopl are t quick to cry foul before they look at the whole situation including themselves.

I'm not sure what it's called in the USA but in Canada we have the Labour Board that deal with these issues, especially since the HR person is not doing anything about it.
The Labour Board here is designed to help with these type of issues, the other thing I would suggest in your case is see your doctor and let him know how much stress this is causing you, your doctor may have some suggestions especially since you are pregnant.......these are serious issues and no one should have to go throught them, there are laws that protect you, maybe you can suggest to your supervisor on getting a training program on Harassment and Respect in the Workplace! which by law everyone should be training on.

do no longer take that crap. it is likewise discrimination. you have documentation yet you desire dates. evidence, witnesses, and what style of damages. you have a stable case. Get some demonstrate screen pictures of the porn. for particular the yelling. Written notarized statements from different workers which you have been dealt with in a various way and unfairly. perhaps get them to testify lol stable success. the place a recorder and start up taking YOUR earned brake. checklist the reactions. do no longer supply in. it somewhat is the regulation. I wager it ends up on your death and that my buddy may well be an extremely wonderful some thing there. i think of that must be some severe stuff there if he's attempting you like a slave. Do all this seek for suggestion from a actual criminal expert and enjoy your money.

The only thing I can suggest to you is that you see a lawyer. Discrimination against pregnant women IS illegal and I hope you can prove that you have a case. Good luck!

It kind of sounds like your being discriminated against. If your sure you have the proof you need, then definately get a lawyer to help you sue for damages, but you will need proof to do this. Good Luck!!

Maybe it is you?
You really are useless and worthless, and don't see it
If everyone says it maybe it is true Start there
I'm sure there is some sort of employee advocate group that can help
I think you should self evaluate yourself first
