Not sure what you're trying to do. Don't you have to press something else as well? For example, if you want Task Manager, you'll press Ctrl+Alt+Del. Is this what you mean?

You need to press ctrl +alt+del to bring up task manager - thats all I know, obviously ctrl+del has no function

probably because there is no Ctri button on your keyboard? :) you want CTRL + ALT + DEL.. first hold down the first 2 then hit del
