My friend is going to a homecoming dance and needs a dress that is not too revealing especially in the back i.e. halters. She is also very short (4ft 11in) she wears between a size 16w-18w
please if anyone knows of somewhere she may purchase a dress, it would be greatly appreciated.

As for dresses that will flatter her shape and height.
She should choose a dress that is all one colour, or has a main color running down the front of the dress. This will help to elongate her body. Avoid 2 piece dresses like those that have a separate corset and skirt, these will cut her body in two and make her appear shorter.
Don't forget she could wear a shrug or bolero jacket so that her back isn't bare, but could then still wear a halter neck dress, which are flattering to us curvy girls.
