Demons, are they real? Do they walk among us?

There are forces external to humans that interact with internal forces which usually operate at subconscious levels. Their primary activities consist of rendering humans

1) blind

2) paralyzed

whether physically or metaphorically.

These conditions are sufficient to cause the individual to exist in contagious spiritual captivity.

Well, still not having proof that there is actually a heaven or hell gets in the way of the answer. I say yes. Like Angels, Demons can also walk among the living. But unlike Angels they are not granted the uniform of a human being. Therefore they must take it. Not a single "Demon" Can take a human body though. You have no clue the amount of energy a human body contains. Then again you would have to take in account how weak the spirit of the being "They" wish to take is. In these times many spirits are weak. But we will never know untell we are dead.

If you look at some of the horrific things that have been done over the course of human history, from totally senseless wars (such as WWI) and various brutal governments (Nazis, Khmer Rouge, Stalin, Idi Amin, among others) the institution of slavery (which still exists in some parts of the world) horrors in the name of "religion" (the Inquisition, Aztec/Inca sacrifices, Jihad) and then your run-of-the-mill serial killers and child molesters.....

what point would there be to being a demon on this planet?

Oh yes, demons walk among us. The dark shadows that scurry by, out of the corner of your eye. The forces that wait to prey upon the unwary. It's the time of year when they come. Really good question! I know some people that really believe they are real and not only are among us, but posses people. There are unseen forces at work and I suppose they could be called demons. I definitely believe in angels!

Yes demons and demonic spirits are real. I don't think that they walk around the way we do( but i could be wrong) I do believe that they attach themselves to people and that's where many problems come from such as the spirit of depression.

yes i think they do.
a co worker of mine a few years ago was temporarily possessed.
he was just minding his own business in his loungeroom when he was suddenly attacked by an invisible being with incredible strength. it sounds wierd but he was literally struggling with an unseen body on top of him. unseen hands and legs holding him down and to top it off it paralyzed his speech. he was screaming for his wife to come and help but nothing came out of his mouth.
but i also believe that there are more angels than demons and there's plenty of true stories of miraculous rescues and healings by our wonderful unseen protectors.

no. they are not real. i remember my insane grandmother scaring the **** out of me as a child telling me that they are everywhere i just cant see them and so on. as an adult though i can see that NO they are not real, dont worry. no demons. just in supernatural and charmed and other kewl shows
