Yes you can visit the the grounds and buildings of the Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II camps.

The admission is free.

Auschwitz is in southern Poland near the town of Oświęcim, about 280K's from Warsaw.

It is around 735miles from Amsterdam, about a 10 hour car journey.

There will probably be flights from Amsterdam to Poland, if you do your research.

The two closest airports to Auschwitz are:

- John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice in Kraków and,
- Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice in Katowice

Both are about an hours drive away.

We just visited Auschwitz, depressing but should not be missed. It is located just outside of Krakow Poland. You get to walk through the entire camp with displays of thousands of shoes, thousands of eyeglasses, thousands of wooden legs and arms, a 20 ft X 20 ft X 6 ft high pile of hair all taken from Jews, Poles and Catholics....before they were killed. On a brighter note..nearby are the Wieliczka Salt Mines..don't miss this..it is miles of underground inactive salt mines..salt was valuable then..Krakow is very nice..good food an wine from Spain..Have a nice trip...

There wouldn't be too much of a change. Non-gang members commit just as much crime or more than the original gang members.
