I'm starting a new online ticketing business where I will locate, archive, and sell tickets (invitations) to the hottest events in my city. I'd like to be able to do this in various cities, so I don't want a name specific to a locality. I want the name to portray the feeling that you can log on and get your invitation to any of the cool events going on in the city today.

Help me out please.

Naming a business is one of the most important things you do when starting a new biz. If you have some extra start up capital, I would check out a naming firm. If you can't afford it, or don't want to, I would read Igor's Naming Guide for a few ideas - http://www.igorinternational.com/process/igor-naming-guide.pdf

Remember to check the US trademark database so you don't get sued.

How about www.quickticks.com?

I think it should be catchy if anything. Something like Wicked Tickets or Hot Stubs.

Entertainment Gateway is a name for the business.

www.funevents.com could be a name. Check availability of such names.
