One show alone can not hold that title. I love Lucy is the prototype for sitcoms. Seinfeld broke that mold and has not been duplicated yet. Then you have a show like The Carrol Burnett Show, which remains as one of the most brilliant variety comedy shows ever. Followed by the juggernaut that is Saturday Night Live. Then you have ground breakers by Norm Lear; All in the Family, Maude and Good Times. Funny and socially aware. There were greats ensembles in Taxi and Cheers not to mention the new hit How I meet Your Mother. I can go on all day with this but I think we get the point.

Does anybody remember "The Young Ones?" It aired on MTV in the late 80's. It was about 4 morons who were college students who shared a house in London. It was absolutely hilarious.

MXC on Spike TV is hilarious as well

My vote might would desire to circulate to important Bang concept. OMG - Sheldon & Leonard are such humorous characters, and Penny is the ideal foil for their lines - and that i'm so geeky i'm getting all of it!! That coach keeps me ROTFLMFAO, for particular!!
