I make an easy version of chicken & rice. Everyone thinks I've slaved over the stove but it takes about 10 min. to make. I use a package of Lipton chicken flavored rice, add 1 can of chicken and at the end I throw some velveeta cheese in. Sometimes I add 1 can of mushrooms. Add a vegetable and a roll and suppers on!

I think I'm going to make some pasta for dinner tonight. I have some Ragu to use. I'm going to throw in some frozen veggies, herbs and spices to make it a little better. It's a quick and easy dinner that doesn't require too much thought or effort.

Steamed sea bass with chopped ginger and spring onion and boiled rice. Sea bass takes about 10 - 15 mins to do. Tasty and light and nice with a beer.

Mmm, my fave: sweet potato gnocci in a bechamel sauce with artichokes and shrimp... (though last night we managed a pretty self sufficient meal: a mushroom/smoked gouda omlette with eggs from our chickens, homemade bread & jam, & cider from our apple trees--delish!)
