Several times a day actually. I moved into the small town I grew up near and they play the siren at noon and at 9pm for curfew then of course when there's a fire or accident.

Not very often...thank God!! The last siren I heard was the noon whistle at the local fire dept on Saturday. It was followed shortly thereafter by the cracking of a can. :)

Not as often as before--we just moved from basically right next to two firestations to out in the boonies. I heard it the other day and actually looked outside to see if my house might have been on fire.

But it was worse
in Mississippi
