Without knowledge, I couldn't play the violin, without wisdom, I couldn't play the music.

I guess to me this means that you can have the knowledge to do something, like playing the violin. This implies only the mechanical or technical knowledge.

But you can't play the music without wisdom: to me this says that wisdom is different than knowledge. You can have the knowledge to play something, but wisdom is that deeper life experience and experience of emotions that makes you a mature person. It comes with age and experience, quicker for some than for others. It's this emotion and wisdom that you put behind the skill to truly produce a beautiful, moving piece of music.
