I guess you're okay from the overdose now. You should ask your doctor. It's up to how the overdose affected your liver. If your liver hasn't been damaged, you can still take Paracetamol. Otherwise, take other medicines in the aspirin group like Nurofen or Advil instead. Those medicines will not harm your liver like Paracetamol does (but may not good if you have indigestion or ulcer.)

Overdoses are not a good idea obviously and espcially not on paracetamol as it damages your liver irriversibly . A lot of people have their stomachs pumped after ODing on it, think they are lucky to be alive only to die a painful death a few days later as their internal organs fail.
You should never take paracetamol to excess, take it whilst drinking alcohol or take more than the recommended dosage or even take the recommended dosage for a long period of time because it is so harmful.

If you have taken an overdose of paracetamol then you will not be aware of the medication destroying your liver. No liver means no life. get to hospital as soon as you can. if you are asking if you can take paracetamol if in the past you have had an overdose of them, Check with your GP.

Not until you have been to a GP and had the liver checked out. If there is any liver damage, they will advise not to take paracetamol or any other product with that in it. You may be advised to take asprin instead unless there are contraindications. Get it checked out now. Liver damage is not a minor problem.

Once you have got over the immediate effects of the overdose you can take it again to help with head aches.
Be warned though NEVER be tempted to take your life again using paracetamol.. its an horrible lingering painful death .

Don't take more than what it says in the packet for the day. Usually its says don't take more than 8 a day but you are not supposed to take more than 2 at any one time.

Eh... how canyou still 'remain' to take them? Do you mean if you have taken an overdose in the past, can you still take them if you need to? If so then yes but they may not be as affective...you may need to call nhs direct 08454647

hELL, FIRSTLY , HOPEFULLY, YOU HAVE SEEN SOMEBODY TO DISCUSS WHY THINGS WERE SO BAD , THAT YOU DECIDED TO END YOUR OWN LIFE. sO SORRY YOU FELT SO BAD. mOST PEOPLE FEEL THAT WAY, MAYBE ONCE IN A LIFE TIME, BUT REMEMBER, IF YOU ARE DEPRESSED, IT WILL LAST A SHORT TIME, ANDYOU WILL FEEL BETTER AGAIN. bEST NOT TO TAKE PARACETAMOL, THEY DAMAGE THE KIDNEY. cOULD YOU CHANGE THE THING WHICH MAKES YOU FEEL BAD, OR GO OUTSIDE MORE, JOIN CLUBS, AND SEE NEW FACES. GOOD LUCK, LOL
