I just had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and saw the heartbeat, but what do all the words/numbers mean at the top. Like Fr, Gn, E/A, Map, D, DR, FR, AO?

I think those are measurements they have taken during the scan. You might find some of them here:

Different doctors use different abbreviations, too, so you might only know by asking the tech who did the scan.

Message to the other answerers: Why Chicago get so many thumbs down, he WAS the user Donovan T. He was a great user, and message to the questioner: you might as well just leave him alone. He left because he didn't want to be part of this section anymore (no offense) and giving his account back would be useless, sure he'll have his account back but theres no chance that hes coming back anytime soon.

It will show your gestational age and measurements. It is all just things they use in u/s to get what they need to know..don't worry about them just worry about what they told you and you'll be fine. If it really bugs you just ask the doctor on your next visit.

I was wondering about this too. But my husband said as long as baby is healthy who gives a sh**** what those abbreviations stand for.
Good Luck
