How do you crawl under a door?

Figuratively speaking how would you crawl under a door? For example the trick was to throw my self out the window, so I took my id and threw it out the window.

I would get someone to verbally disparage me until I felt so small I just wanted to crawl into a hole, but instead would crawl under the door.
