I will take prenatal vitamins, exercise, and eat very healthy. I don't smoke or drink. What else should I do/not do? Is there anything my husband should do/not do to ensure he's in the best shape? If you have experienced this, please let me know. It has been so much harder emotionally than I would have thought... Last time we got pregnant on the first try. Thank you...

Be encouraged. I also lost a baby 4 years ago, and am ready to ttc. My dr. told me most times, (if there isn't anything genetically compromising with your body), it is your body expelling what isn't "healthy." That could be the baby not forming like he/she should, or complications during implantation. Have you been RH tested? If you are RH negative, and the baby you carry is RH positive, from your partner, that could encourage miscarriages. If you are not aware of this, simply ask to be RH tested, or ask if this concern has been taken into consideration. If this isn't an issue, and you are aware of your RH status, then relax, continue to take pre-natal vitamins, pure fish oil (not omega-3) top quality vitamins inhibit miscarriages, mild excercise, like walking, pilates, and maintaining a healthy diet. Like one responder mentioned already, drinking raspberry teas encourage a toned uterus. I would also wait at least 8 weeks, or after your period, to ttc, let your body regroup from this trauma. Best wishes, friend.

I just miscarried a few days ago as well. I was only at 5 1/2 weeks but I agree it was worse than I ever imagined it could be. I just wanted to tell you good luck and I hope all the best for you. I want to start trying right away too but we'll see what my doctor tells me tomorrow.

Our experts describe you as an appallingly uninteresting fellow, unimaginative, timid, lacking in initiative, spineless, somewhat ruled, no experience of humour, tedious corporation and irrepressibly drab and undesirable. And while in maximum professions those could be important drawbacks, in chartered accountancy they're a good boon.
