Yes I agree it was very exciting. The problem is it eliminated alot of good teams from a BCS title shot. We need a playoff system so badly its crazy.

Yes, this is the result of reducing the number of scholarships a large program can offer to student/players. We're closer to parity, and everyone has a shot - teams like Rutgers and Louisville and South Florida that never did in the past, and teams like Cal and Oregon and Colorado and Purdue that always dwelt in the shadows of their more esteemed conference rivals. And why should 10 or 20 teams like USC and Oklahoma and Michigan ALWAYS win? So this weekend some of the "little guys" excited many of the other fans. It's good for everyone in the long run.

I agree I would like to have seen USC get beat. College needs a playoff systems and all the big schools getting beat and not having clear 1-2 rank teams gets us 1 step closer to a playoff system. Weeks like this show us that there is never really two powerhouse teams anymore that are so much greater than everyone else. I think right now there are 5 to 6 teams that could beat anybody on any given day.
It did suck that my sooners got beat by colorodo, I thought they had a chance.... oh well.

That was a great weekend of football. There is no clear cut best team this year in football. Anything can happen on any weekend.

ABSOLUTELY the most fun I've had watching TV since the Big 12 Championship in 2003!!! It is what makes football great if you are a fan of a team, not just a legacy. (the legacy's were beat this weekend by true teams)

If only USC were taken out, it would have been the perfect college football weekend.

For some people it was great, like for K-State fans or the fans who got the upsets. For the people who got upset by a worse team it must be a horrific weekend!
