recently my car was broken into and got in the trunk somehow and now it doesnt want to close all the way how do i fix that and how much will it cost. 91 cadillac seville

New trunk latch motor is about 90 dollars. three bolts and one or two electrical plugs. Easy do it your self just get the bolts back to where they were use a felt tip pen to make the bolts then take it apart.

If I remember correctly! just make sure it has power and ground. I believe the sensor is in the latch. As long as pwr. & gnd. are good and it is the type I remember you have one choice replace the latch assembly. Romove carpet and what ever else is in you way. replace it.
