Everyone has heard the rumor that Alonso may be on his way back to Renault. However, Renault is the 4th or 5th best team this year. Next year i think BMW Sauber will be a title contender along with Ferrari and Mclaren, is Renault's Alonso's best choice?

I don't think so. not only would he have the Ferrari's and the McLarens to worry about, BMW are definitely on the up development wise. i think it will be a lot closer at the top next year between these three teams. i really don't think Renault could pull of any major development to make a car capable of rivalling these teams. Fernando would be better off staying at McLaren, that's where his best chance of winning the championship would be.

No, Renault has had enough success to satisfy them for a while so they have cut their budget.

There are better choices out there for next year, like bmw and even redbull but all their drivers are still on contract.
