And, when will we know of this WIN ? And, what will it entail ?
The sealing of the borders in order to disallow the insurgents access to the country ? A peace treaty signed by all of the radical molahs sending their young men to fight there from all over the world ? The fall of a particular "objective" ? The coherent application of a "stable government" that has been unachievable after four years of "elections" and squabbling !!
An end to the ethnic and tribal wars created by the destablization of the country ?
Or will it be more along the lines of ---- a McDonald's in every Iraqi city --- a Citicorp Building in downtown Baghdad ? A Merrill-Lynch brokerage in Falujah ? Or when the PERMINENT US BASES ARE COMPLETED AND MANNED !! When and what needs to happen or be accomplished so that we KNOW that "we have won" !!

And, to the jokers THE WHOLE DAMNED LOT OF YOU -- who say that we WON the Iraq war --- you are IDIOTS --- we still have body bags coming out of that place every single day !!!! ALL THAT WAS WON IN WHAT TRANSPIRED IS -- WE SUCCESSFULLY INVADED !!! AND, successfully installed a puppet government (that isn't working worth a tinker's damn !!) !!!!

we won the war in Iraq in 2003. We should have left then and fought the real war on terror.

The war is technically over and was won long ago. I will be happy when the new Iraqi government is in place and able to do the policing that we have been doing for 4 years now, so we can begin to bring our troops home.

The war itself has been won. What we have now is the same thing we had in Germany after WWII. Forces helping to secure the nation until their government is set up, they have their own security force/military to do that, and most of what was destroyed during the war is rebuilt.

We did win the war. Perhaps you missed the capture and execution of Saddam?

Now we are fighting terrorist from Iran and other muslim countries. Sadly thats happening in Iraq. If the French ever get enough support from the UN to take miitary action against Iran. Then most of the problems we face in Iraq will disappear. Until then, we can only wait until the Iraqi government gets its feet under it and takes control of the country.

We're WINNING the war in Iraq. But don't tell the democrats that. They've spent the last 4 years investing into US failure, retreat, and disgrace. Any success we have only makes them look bad.

We won the war.
Now get the press out of Iraq and let the soldiers do what they do best without the armchair quarterbacks.

I think, if we won the war, and the troops came home that even the slimiest anti-war anti-Bush heads would be celebrating. It would be awesome.

Celebrate that we have brought democracy and a terrorist free state to Iraq allowing the Iraqi people to flourish economically and enjoy the same freedoms that Americans take for granted.
