I am living in Asheville, NC currently. I have English citizenship though and would be happiest living in Europe. Very vast category I know but where should I eventually move in Europe, and why?

I do not only speak English. And Japan is not in Europe- but thanks for the answer!

I just want to know about places you have lived/traveled and reasons you loved it.

With an English citizenship you are allowed to live and work indefinitely in any country belonging to the EEA (ie. almost all developed countries apart from Switzerland).

You have to bear in mind that the criteria for living somewhere are not the same as the criteria for going on holiday. For instance, Greece or Spain, with their warm weather, great food, and stunning landscapes may sound like good places to live, but it is difficult to find a job there, and even if you do, you will earn less than half as much as in the US, and standards of education and health care are worse.

I recommend the Nordic countries. They consistently score among the best in the world in terms of jobs, quality of life, education, wealth, and safety. It is also easier to find a job as an English speaker in those countries than in Southern Europe, though eventually you will need to learn the local language well, wherever you go.

If you're English -- I would recommend England ;)

If you mean you SPEAK only English -- I would recommend an English-speaking country.

BUT ... I highly suggest find a place where you have a job lined up or can get one easily.

Just moving and saying "Ta-da -- here I am" ... makes you run out of money fast... especially if you don't speak the language.
