How do they determine who gets homefield advantage for tonight's baseball game between the Rockies and Padres?

I realize that it is being played and Denver, but why? Go Rockies!!

Every time a close playoff race is going on, the commissioner's office has a whole bunch of coin tosses for every outcome.

There was a coin toss last Thursday to determine home field for all the possible tie breaker scenarios.
