The last concert I went to. Billy Joel 2006 kicked butt, it was a great party. Mostly because the crowd was very much into it and the setlist was awesome. Second place was Billy Joel & Elton John's "Face to Face" tour. It was a double whammy. First time I saw Elton totaly blew me away. And him and Billy burning it up on the pianos together was priceless. Another show that sticks out in my brain is Rush back in 1998. The music and showmanship was there but half the crowd was stoned, it was an outdoors show in crappy weather, and they didn't play "Limelight" which pissed me off a bit. I'm flying to see Genesis in Chicago on Wednesday and for what I've heard, it's going to beat any show I've ever been to.

Does Blue Man Group count? That was pretty much the best thing ever.
Otherwise, I saw Arcade Fire from the front row at an outdoor festival in the English countryside on a beautiful day this July. It was the best day of my life.

well, considering the three "real" concerts I've been to, I'd have to say Ani Difranco at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago.
(um, the other two were n'syn... right... that's embarrassing.)
