I have seen that some of the Met fan users who where here for weeks & now all of a sudden have been absent for the last 2 weeks. Anyone who doesn't show up to work over a ball game needs to get a life.

Yes they did choke & true Met fans will always stick by their team even though I am not a fan of the Mets. Is your team in play-offs? Sometimes it's easy to laugh about another team's downfall especially if your team didn't win division or make play-offs. My Yankees won wild card to everybody's surprise considering how many baseball fans, especially Tiger fans like that loser Georgie Porgie, counted them out when they were 14 1/2 games out of contention & where are the Tigers now.

I'm here it's all good. It's a bit disapppoointing but life goes on. The Phillies wanted it more then the Mets did and in the end it showed. Congratulations once again Phillies fans.

I can't blame them; if I was a Mets fan I wouldn't want to be spending my time on Yahoo Answers baseball section...it is a little overboard not to go into work because of it

Nah...I am a Mets fan... and the day must go on no matter what......As it is a bit saddening for us Mets fans today...probably the bitter taste won't go away for awhile.....Thats sports for ya.....It was for us to lose it and we did. I give credit for the Phillies for staying in the hunt.
When the game ended yesterday at Shea.....I sat there.....and they started playing The Scientist By Coldplay......
That song made it even worse LOL

The Mets fans are in their dark rooms with several boxes of tissue, several bottles of jack daniels mourning the historical mental meltdown, aka really bad choke job, the mets had.

I'm here. Very depressed, but soldiering on. As a Mets fan, even though this is a new kind of agony, I'm pretty much used to them throwing pain at me.

Maybe Mets fans are like Bear fans . They talk allot of smack when their on top and then hibernate when their not .
