It's too dangerous for kids to go door to door nowadays.

Yes it is more dangerous these days, but parents need to watch their children carefully and monitor the candy they bring home. Parents need to explain to their children what is appropriate and what isn't, they also need to set ground rules for them. Parents also need to go on line and check where local sex offenders live. If adults take the proper precautions, children can enjoy Halloween safely.

No. Why would you think it should be? Didn't you dress up when you were a kid? I remember all the things I went as and it was so much fun. I have great memories of going trick or treating.

No, of course kids should have a gaurdian with them when they go, and the gaurdian should know who's house they are knocking on, i.e. leave the elderly alone and go out trick or treating when its light outside, but to outlaw it? hell no, the world hasnt gone that bad has it?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

If you made an effort to outlaw trick or treating, your house would be #1 on every kid's Halloween s*** list!! (You would have enough eggs and toilet paper on your house to build a life size model of the solar system!!)

NO!!!

That's like asking whether Santa Claus should be outlawed from allowing kid to sit on his lap
because the one in a million might be a pervert.

No it shouldn't. On what basis would somebody be able to argue outlawing trick-or-treating?

No...if anything...video games should be outlawed.

A lot of things are dangerous for kids to be doing by themselves. Parents should start being parents and go WITH their children instead of just sending them out to raise hell with all the other unsupervised children or telling them they can't go at all.
