Hmm... not in the sense that magic is what we are taught as children. However, power of the mind, positive thoughts/affirmations (and prayer & rituals are just extensions of these) all work. This is the magic that witches spoke of years ago and were burned for. Fairy tales have a way of distorting history, so do politicians and priests for that matter ;)

There is no reason why these things can't happen naturally. We just dont have the knowledge. Consequently we call it magic.

It is possible magic exists, but since no one has ever been able to perform it under controlled conditions I think it is extremely unlikely that it exists.

The guy who burned the paper with his mind was using a trick of some kind. Chances are there video crew was in on it to some degree as well.

I don't believe in the supernatural definition of magic. But I do believe in nature, psychology, and the power of suggestion/symbolism. Those are very powerful and motivating things, and I refer to them as magic.

That was a mentalist, like Chris Angel, who uses mind over matter (manipulates matter). Real magick (not the rabbit in the hat crap) is a form of occultism.
