Yes it sounds weird!!! specially when I'm talking with a girl that has my same name!! My name is Yolani and it's not a common name so it's kind of weird!!! :)

Yes..I have a few friends with the same name and when I say "Hey Brittany" it sounds sooo weird to be saying my own name.

No. People call me my own name so I get used to it. And when I say it? No! Actually no because my friend has the same name.

I've always wondered what it is about our brains that when you say or view a word/name many times it starts to sound or look wrong.

Yes, I feel like they're talking about someone else...But my nickname is easier. Maybe the fact that I live in my lovely dreamworld all the time might have something to do with it.

yes its crazy cause in the past year i met 2 other people with the same name as me and when im trying to talk to one of them the other turns around...its so wierd...and vice versa
