I've been playing video since I was 7 , and to me it takes dedication ,passion,creativity and a great imagination to develop a video game,and most importantly you must have fun and love doing it,do you agree that video games have become an artform?, thanks for answering and keep gaming!! lol!!

I do believe that video games are a form of art. I think they are like an interactive movie. It does take a great imagination to create a deep storyline, likable characters, awesome character and enemy design, and fun gameplay.

Indeed; games are a complete product of creativity. A game who has been well polished in all aspects is like a flawless movie or book. Games like Half-Life 2, Deus Ex, Out of this World, Wing Commander, and Ultima are a testament to this.

I agree whole-heartedly. People who say video-games are only for the immature and stupid are just kidding themselves. The video-game industry is basically the "guinea pig" for companies like Microsoft. So in that sense, I think that videogames always have been, are, and will be a very important form of art to society whether people admit it or not.
