Try wetting the stain with ammonia and then drop in the washer. Be sure to never mix ammonia with bleach. Another thing I have read
is to add 1 cup of vinegar in the wash cycle.

Pretreat with a detergent product then wash as normal. If it is fabric that needs to be dry cleaned or hand washed, your dry cleaner will be able to take care of it.

sadly it sucks when you put a shirt on prior to getting crap all over it

i usually rub the fabric onto itself, it usually works, but don't know if that is the proper way.
