I have recenlty been diagnosed with PCOS: high LH, 'evidence' of PCOS on one ovary and a very small cyst on other.

I was hoping gyne Dr would prescribe Clomid to help me ovulate and concieve. Am meeting on Wed so will ask then.

My question is, can you take Clomid if you have a cyst on your ovary. I read early this morning (on the manufactuers info sheet) that you shouldn't?

If you have PCOS, it is likely that you always have small cysts on your ovaries. I'm almost 26 weeks pregnant, and I still have cysts! Clomid and metformin are the main first line of treatment for TTC'ers with PCOS. I took both with PCOS and all was fine.
