I don't really like them ;)
Especially on some people look gross!

Personally, I don't really care for tattoos, especially on girls. I think they look trashy on girls. But hey, if that's what you're into, go for it. I don't have one and I'm not getting one. My opinion sounds slightly critical, but that's really not how I mean it to come across.
My guy has a tattoo, but he hates it now. It has no meaning and he wants to get it re-done. It doesn't make sense to me. Why not just pay to have it removed if you don't like it.
My old roommate has a few tattoos. One of the tattoos is supposed to be of her zodiac sign, but looks nothing like it. She always has to explain it when people see it. I think that's stupid to pay that much money to have something done wrong. Now she's stuck with it forever.
Although, I will say this...I have seen some really cool and creative tattoos on people. I do think it's an art form and an expression of ones personality.

I have four. I got my first one when I turned 30 on my upper arm. A small/med cross underneath that one. I have one on my back and one on my thigh. Everyone of them means something to me. I look at tattoos as art. I did it for me. You wouldn't even know I had them. I don't look at tattoos as trashy. Different strokes for different folks. I turned 40 this year and my next tattoo will be a memorial for my mom. I think that people tend to generalize folks that have a lot of tats. I know that they are addicting and people like to look at them.

I like tattoos. They are supposed to be meaningful forms of expression, your body bearing the permanence is a sacrifice for your expression. I have 2 and I love them!! I have a butterfly on my ankle. I love butterflies. To me, they represent positive transformation and freedom. I also have a rose on my back with my mothers name I had done in her memory, so it really depends on the tattoo and their personal choice of the person.

I dont mind tattoos, I just dont like them all over the body or face.I would say 2 or 3 one the body would be alright.

I do not like tattoos on myself. I don't mind them on other people though - to each his own.

i have tattoo and love everyone of them...they express a chapter in you live...Each one means something

I don't, i think for the most part they are trashy. I mean what is the significance of a pink dolphin on your ankle, there isn't one, its just stupid and trashy.

I personally don't like them!!!!
I have alot of family members getting them though.
But for personal reasons and they have meanings.
Not really for show.
