Manhattan is more condensed and probably brighter with older buildings and lots of advertising. Dubai is newer and has more interesting buildings many of which are still under construction. I Like both cities but Dubai is the cutting edge of architecture where NYC has been the Big Apple for my entire lifetime. What do you Think? Its really a judgement call and depends on what you like. Personally, It's Dubai for me!

You know these questions do not have an answer. Manhattan has lots more light than Dubai. So what? More beautiful is an opinion. If you like modern than you will love Dubai. Whereas I prefer history, old buildings, old culture, and things that a new country cannot replicate in any way shape or form. So give me NY NY any day---So nice they named it twice!!!!

well, now you cant compare Sheikh Zayed road with Manhattan as half of the Sheikh Zayed road are still under construction. But after 5 years, I believe it will be so much more beautiful than Manhattan.
Anyway, that was just my opinion!
