if your not getting positives on your ovulation tests then it may well mean that despite being on clomid your not able to ovulate. Clomid does not always work for every woman. You may however need your dose increased to 150 mg. Talk to your doctor about this at your next appointment. Metformin and pre-natal medicines wont effect you using ovulation tests

Clomid can thicken your CM and prevent you from getting pregnant. My doctor recommends IUI with clomid to bypass cervix and get sperm directly into uterus. Talk to your doctor about your options. Also, after 4 years you should be seeing a specialist (Reproductive Endocrinologist). I hope that's who you are seeing.
