Hi we have been trying for 4 years had loads of tests done at the hospital and the doctor has given me these tablets for 6 months

Hi, I was given Clomid in Jan, started taking it in my Feb cycle 50 mg. Didn't ovulate so it was upped to 100mg took it for another 2 cycles then for the 4th cycle I only had enough for a course of 50mg. Took them I was on holidays. Got pregnant. Unfortunately miscarried at 10 weeks. In the middle of my 1st cycle back on the clomid. I've also started charted my temp, mucus and using opk. Hopefully this month we'll be successful and carry it full term. Or in the words of the consultant after my miscarriage, I'll get a take home baby.
I do know people wh've had kids while using clomid, usually quite a short time scale.

Hi! We have been ttc for 15 months now. I will start my 3rd of Clomid (name brand) today. I will be taking 100 mg days 5-9 of my cycle. My first cycle I took 50 mg and didn't ovulate and had a 30 day cycle. Second cycle took 50 mg and ovulated day 19 and had a 39 day cycle. I usually have a 27-28 day cycle. I am hoping this will be our month. I chart my temps and use opk's to help determine ovulation and to time intercourse effectively. I didn't have any side effects other than a little drying of cervical mucus which is totally normal. I may have more side effects now I am doubling the dose. Best of luck ttc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was put on Clomid in May after ttc for 18 months and fell pregnant after the second dose but unfortunately miscarried at 7 1/2 weeks. I took Clomid again and fell pregnant straight away.

hey, I am also on clomid, did 50mg twice on days 2-6 without ovulating, then 1 cycle of 100mg on day 2-6 without ovulating again, I am currently using metformin and clomid 100mg on day 3-7 this is my last month on clomid so I am praying this month its works, clomid for some ladies doesn't work, some ladies gets fast results such as their 1st month of trying clomid, clomid is to be taken up to 3 months, but most dr perscribe it up to 6 months the max, I have pcos and isn't ovulatin on my owns, I have been ttc#1 for 4 years now, I have cycts on both of my ovaries, if I don't get a BFP this month I'll be taking injections which I'll force my dr to do

Hi,
I am not a lot of help to you, but I am also considering Clomifene tablets. I have been trying to conceive for some time now and after some tests it seems I am not ovulating. Are you considering these and why?
