There are many people I respect. What I look for is has the person done what they have done with positive intentions, and have they exercised a reasonable effort to think about its impact on others and weigh that appropriately. If they do that, I don't care if they have failed or even if they accidentally harm me or others. What matters is the care they practiced, and that they had honorable intentions.

That's too hard to narrow down. There are many I respect, starting within my own family to holy ministers of God, teachers, policemen...etc. I respect people for the unselfish acts they do for the good of others. And if I'm shown some respect, I will offer it.

Anyone who is brave enough and honest enough to say what they really think, not caring about other people's judgements.
I've only ever met 1.

No. I wish i did.
But to respect them i need to trust them, as past experiences haven't allowed me to really believe a thing that most people say, i can't say that i trust anyone.
How sad is that?

Yes, my parents (I know, pretty boring), and several long time friends. The people I've mentioned are not in any way perfect but they are all strong, intelligent, loving, understanding and kind.
