Just do the stupid run! I think that outcome will look the best but either way when you trip up it's gonna look funny so just laugh about it I do, but I know it's worse when your on your own lol.

Lol I never do the stupid run I always laugh and look around to see if anyone saw. And I make a wierd noise as well but I don't know how to show you how it sounds.LoL. I only get embarrassed when I'm by myself because there is no one to laugh and joke with. Their are only people to laugh at you. LoL.

hahah this question but especially some of the anwers are hilarious!
The only possible way to avoid it is to try and not trip in the first place or crash into (or grab onto) something nearby like a small wall or a person.

If it's going to be a really dumb-a*&^ trip then it's worth trying to break into a run. Look like you just thought of something important, and you need to hurry. Maybe half the people who see it will be fooled into thinking your strange movements were intentional. Ahhh, pride intact....

You mean the one where you have to run in order to make your body catch up with your head? I don't avoid it, because it's better than letting nature take it's course. It's like balancing a broom or stick on your hand... if you don't move your hand to bring the stick to a vertical position, it'll just fall.

It's easy to do; fall flat on your face. That's what will happen if you don't do it. Fortunately for all of us, our more-primitive brains take over when we trip, and deal with what's IMPORTANT, instead of what's "cool;" we may look awkward, but we stay upright!
