I am wanting to visit Iceland (blue lagoon) in Jan,
does anyone know of hotels near the lagoon? or if they have hotel right there..

There is a hotel in a nearby town called Keflavík (that's where the international airport is too). Here is their website: http://www.hotelkeflavik.is/en/
Then there is a lot of hotels in Reykjavík, which is a 30-40 minutes' drive from the Blue Lagoon. This website lists accommodation in Reykjavík: http://tourist.reykjavik.is/displayer.asp?cat_id=2

Its not far from the capital, Reykjavik only a bus ride away
