The most famous tourist destination, without a shred of doubt, is Boracay. At any given time, this place is teeming with tourists, both foreign and local. That includes the cold months of November to February, which you would say are not months to go to the beach. But such is the allure of Boracay.

I'm from Manila, and I honestly feel Baguio is the place tourists should hit up. The weather, the natural surroundings, the different culture there, the nice tourist spots, and it doesn't cost very much to go to Baguio as compared to the other destinations such as Palawan, Boracay, etc.

Baguio city is still the best place to visit when you are in the Philippines. That place has a cold climate unlike the other places in the country. Veggies are fresh, flowers are abundant, friendly people, there are many delicacies and delicious food to eat. You can also drop by Tarlac City when going to Baguio City and buy native rice cakes by Betty's, baked products by Urdu's and Rosemary's, and also try the restaurants. They are great! People in Tarlac City are friendly too.

Hey I have to go, the tide is in!
Did somebody say Boracay?
As the tide go out the sewage leach into the ocean. . . .as the tide come in, so rise the water in the cesspools.
Back in 1993 it was a jewel, now it is polluted and over crowded and don't expect me to tell you where I am going now.

a lot! but if you're only asking for one place, i would say it's Palawan. A week in Palawan is not enough. There are many sights to see.

here's the site for a list of must-see places:

cebu --- it has natural, man-made, historical and cultural tourist attractions..its proximity to other key cities/regions in the philippines is also very strategic..

it also has some of the best beaches (malapscua, bantayan, etc.), best resorts (shangri-la mactan, plantation bay, etc.), best pasalubong (dried mangoes, danggit, etc.) and possibly the best lechon in the country... ;)
