Is it possible for a spider to get caught or stuck in its own web?

Actually, it is. But spiders spin their webs to have certain locations "unsticky", locations that are convenient for their long, thin legs but unusable for any other insect.

Oh, yes. Web-spinners, though, have specific design features in their legs and feet to allow them to navigate their webs without significant danger.
