Writing a keylogger is very easy, and for that reason you'll find that there are _hundreds_ of them available. For that reason you'll find it's difficult to get an exact answer to this one - there's no telling where it's hidden itself!

Have a look at what processes are running, and see if that gives you any leads.

In the mean time, don't type anything confidential or embarrassing lol

Parents install a key logger on you? Trying to get around your parents without letting them know? Why else would you want to stop the program without deleting it?

The best way is to find out the process and disabling it in the start up... Try windows startup inspector, Its free and no crap or ads or anything like that is added in... very nice. Reads the registry and finds what starts up on boot up.

run an anti spyware and it should locate and delete the keylogger. i'm not sure if you could disable it without removing it from your computer. you can download free anti spyware from http://www.2-spyware.com/compare2.php
